Hot-headed Obama can't be happy about this.
Apparently Mitt Romney is raising goodly sums of campaign cash in areas of the country that have been highly lucrative to the Obama fundraising efforts in the past--note: I'm not saying that Obama is suffering in those same areas (I lack the data to determine that), just that Romney is having significant success in raising funds from the exclusive neighborhoods of the economic and intellectual "elite," which have been far more friendly to Obama in the past.
I can only link to the original article, because of AP draconian copyright policies (if I had another source, I'd use it).
Romney raising funds with great success in New York, San Francisco, LA, Chicago, etc. and the donations are coming both small and large. This, combined with the amount of money Romney is bringing in--especially now that Ryan has joined the ticket--has got to worry Team Obama and the Democrat machine.
Be prepared for Democrats and Obama to try and double-down on the lame "there's too much money in politics" routine. We will hear a lot of stories that the amount of money Romney is spending in his campaign is "bad for the country," or "bad for our elective process," or some such hypocritical nonsense.
Just a year ago, Team Obama and the MSM were loudly and excitedly proclaiming that Obama would raise $1 Billion for his reelection campaign. Back then, money wasn't bad, it was helping Obama to bring "Hope and Change" to America. Obama had no problem in his 2008 breaking his personal pledge to remain within the federal campaign funding limits as soon as he discovered he would be successful at fundraising (just as he felt no compunction at breaking his pledge to hold 12 townhall type debates with McCain--I guess Obama's word is nothing but hot air).
We are going to hear Obama's MSM surrogates make a big deal over this and the amount of money Romney is raising and spending. Oh the outrage, oh the crime, oh . . . all that empty hot air.
Romney by 10%
Long Live Our American Republic!!!!
